My own graphic profile and website
Of course my own graphic profile is made by myself. Making it I wanted something that didn't take over and shift focus off my work, but still felt personal and represented me.
Starting with the logo it was important to have my own name, but even as it is a word-based logo I wanted it to have an interesting element. The result is the two different shapes of "S". They highlight the name as well as offers a uniquity to the text. The two shapes are also used in the secondary logo, where they complement each other and creates one or two letter depending on how you look at it. They make the logo recognisable and gives the classic font a modern touch.
A big focus of the profile was to display my experiences and qualities in a resumé, cover letter and portfolio. In order to do this, plenty of different elements was utilised. Lines, structures and grids are a big part of the profile, despite not being directly visible. These structures controls where and how images and text are displayed.
Fonts and colors were chosen with the basic idea of being sublte but personal in mind. The main font, Open Sans, is modern and clean, and complemented with a classic font and a more playful font, they all create a sophisticated but still playful profile. The colors are all within the greyscale apart from a light subtle pink. The pink color adds a personality to the profile, while the black, white and greys keeps it grounded.
It is all complemented with a pattern, shapes and other elements used sparingly but adding some character.
